CHEMICAL REVIEWS, 2018
The review appeared in June 2018 in the prestigious journal Chemical Reviews reports the advancements to organic chemistry brought about by tris(trimethylsilyl)silane, the radical-based reagent that celebrates the thirty years since its discovery by Dr. Chatgilialoglu.
TECAN JOURNAL, 2018
LIPIDOMICS-THE FUTURE OF PERSONALIZED MEDICINE?
In the July 2018 issue of the TECAN Journal an article was dedicated to the personalized approach of membrane lipidomics realized at LIPINUTRAGEN, the company born as spin-off of the CNR, founded by Dr. Chatgilialoglu and Dr. Ferreri. In particular, the laboratory procedure for obtaining the membrane lipidomic analysis is based on an automated procedure realized by the robotic equipment (LNG-R1). This equipment has been created by a joint venture between Lipinutragen and the company TECAN adapting their liquid handling system Freedom Evo for the isolation and work-up of cell membranes with high precision.
REP-eaT, SEMINAR FOR PhD STUDENTS, 2018
FATTY ACID-BASED MEMBRANE LIPIDOMICS: FROM CHEMICAL BIOLOGY TO MOLECULAR DIAGNOSTICS
This event was organized by the University of Teramo in the frame of the REP-EAT research and training doctoral programme financed by the Horizon2020 in the interdisciplinary domain of food and healthy diet, to deepen the impact of food quality on reproductive Health (REP) and eating disorders (EAT). The Early Stage Researchers recruited in the REP-EAT assisted to the seminars of Dr. Chatgilialoglu and Dr. Ferreri and discussed the main topics of their projects.
IMPACT, 2017
BIOTECH AND MOLECULAR MEDICINE
In this issue of Science Impact an interview to Dr. Chatgilialoglu and Dr. Ferreri is reported, to explain the main features of the innovative idea of membrane lipidomics, put on the health care market with their spin-off company Lipinutragen
